*NEW* Eucalypts of Western Australia - The Goldfields Book
"Hello Malcolm, What a beautiful book! It really gives honour to the amazing diversity and majesty of the goldfields eucs. I am awestruck by the ability to sort out so many species and subspecies from each other.
Usually eucs are hard to photograph but you have caught each species at each stage of development for buds, flowers, fruit bark habit etc. ...even having to consider the angle of the sun's rays.
I particularly like the section where the differences between similar species are explained. With other books the reader is constantly flipping between pages to see what the detailed differences are whereas here all that work is done for you.
To have the complexity of the eremophila group sorted out is great. I had two tenera in the garden but now I have two eremophila! I must admit to a soft spot for campaspe.
I am amazed that you can even contemplate revising the wheatbelt yet!
Congratulations on a great achievement and all the best for a happy christmas time.
PS This all sounds a bit over-the-top but I really mean it!" - Elspeth from Victoria

“This is a gift for my Dad's 59th birthday, and he is a big fan of your books. He has been working to identify trees on his land in Bullsbrook and has found your work really interesting and informative. Great work and appreciate your prompt reply to my order." - Alan from Perth

“Hello Malcolm, I've received my copy of Eucalypts of the WA Goldfields. What a book, I'd better not read it in bed, or I might suffer a concussion if I nod off. I note a woodline mallee; I wasn't aware of that before.
It's a book I'll treasure and will accompany me on my future goldfields 4WD trips. My all-time favourite gum is the Marble Gum; they are huge and majestic and seem to flourish in seemingly poor soil and limited water." - Phil from Perth

"Well done with the Goldfield book... I just picked up a copy at Boffins. Excellent guide book. I now look forward to checking out more Eucalyptus at Split Rock. Well done also highlighting the conservation status of the species. Some of those species have very restricted distributions.
Hope you are planning Pilbara and Kimberely books!" - Tony from Perth
